At 325 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms capable of producing landspouts and dust devils across Northern Toole, Liberty, Hill and Blaine Counties. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph, pea size hail, and a low risk of landspouts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Scattered thunderstorms moving southeast over much of North Central and Central Montana east of the Rocky Mountain Front will continue through at least the afternoon hours. These storms are producing isolated cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, brief heavy rainfall, wind gusts to 40 mph, and small hail or graupel. These storms may also produce brief cold air funnels, which are mostly harmless. However, if they briefly touch down as landspouts, they may cause even stronger winds gusts or possibly some minor damage to trees or structures. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include...
