At 1230 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated that heavy thunderstorms that produced generally 2 to 4 inches of rain in a short time on Monday evening have ended, although steady light rain continues. Additional rainfall amounts up to around one-quarter inch are possible still early this morning, but this should not be enough to greatly worsen any ongoing flooding. That being said, mainly minor flooding will likely continue for at least a few more hours, especially along small creeks and streams in the area, and possibly along various rural and county roads.
