With light winds in place this morning, areas under and along the edge of a small batch of low level clouds will continue to see the potential for patchy fog this morning. There will be times where visibility drops to less than one mile, and with temperatures below freezing, a few slick spots are not out of the question in areas of thicker fog. Conditions are expected to improve through the mid to late morning hours.

* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations ranging from a light glaze to a few hundredths of an inch. Wind speeds mainly 5 to 15 MPH. * WHERE...Jewell County. * WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 9 AM CST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Very slippery sidewalks, roads and bridges are possible. Although travel impacts are expected to be minimal, a varied mix of light rain, light freezing rain or sleet, and possibly even a touch of slushy snow will remain possible across portions of north central Kansas through around mid-afternoon, with precipitation gradually departing the area from north-to-south. Any light icing is expected to mainly focus on elevated surfaces, and any snow accumulation, if it even occurs, should only amount to a few tenths of an inch. Given the expected minimal accumulation of any ice or snow, along with lack of expected travel impacts, a formal Winter Weather Advisory is not
