ESFAFG The Yukon River is open from Tanana to about 10 miles downstream of Mountain Village as of Thursday afternoon. Thermally degraded and lifted ice remains in the middle and south mouths and at Emmonak and Alakanuk. Ice runs from upstream of Tanana continue as ice degrades between Beaver and Rampart. Heavy ice runs are still being seen along many stretches of the Yukon. Water levels remain low, however if an ice jam forms at the breakup front, water levels could rise quickly behind it causing localized minor flooding. River Watch flights are done for the season.

ESFSJU An upper-level trough moving across the Dominican Republic, combined with abundant moisture, will result in the development of showers and thunderstorms across the local islands today and Saturday. Today, showers are expected to develop across the islands, with the highest accumulations across the interior, west and northwest Puerto Rico. Based on the latest guidance, there is a chance to observe periods of showers and thunderstorms Friday and Saturday.
