Gusty southwesterly winds are expected today. Frequent gusts up to around 40 mph are expected this afternoon. Isolated higher gusts of 45 to 50 mph will be possible. These gusts will cause unsecured outdoor objects to be moved around, as well as make driving conditions difficult, particularly for high profile vehicles. Additionally, tree limbs may be downed, causing localized power outages.
