The combination of dry fuels, very warm temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s, southwest winds gusting to between 15 and 25 mph, and relative humidity bottoming out in the 20 to 30 percent range will result in an increased risk of wildfires through this evening. Remember that Kentucky regulations make it illegal to burn between the hours of 6 AM and 6 PM EDT within 150 feet of any woodland or brushland during the Spring Forest Fire Hazard Season.
