Total snow accumulations between 5 and 9 inches possible above 7500 feet; between 3 and 6 inches above 5000 feet; up to 3 inches above 3000 feet. * WHERE...White and Inyo Mountains, Eastern Sierra Slopes, and Owens Valley. * WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Monday. * IMPACTS...Plan on icy and/or snow-covered roads, especially through Westgard Pass along State Route 168 and isolated/higher elevations of Highway 395 through Owens Valley.

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 25 expected. * WHERE...Del Norte, Humboldt, and Mendocino Coast, and Southern Mendocino Interior. * WHEN...Until 9 AM PST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Wind gusts will be particularly strong along windward ridges. There is an increased risk of tree branches and other debris on roadways. Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

In Nevada, Mineral and Southern Lyon Counties. * WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Sunday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult, including Highways 395 and 95. Wind chill values may drop to 5 below zero to 15 below zero at times in the backcountry. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is the potential to see locally greater snowfall amounts depending on where the heavier snow bands
