In Vermont, Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 15 to 25 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind chill temperatures for mountain peaks are expected to be even colder, between 25 and 40 degrees below zero.

Winds occasionally gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Carteret, southern Craven, Pamlico, Tyrrell, and Hyde and Dare counties including the Outer Banks. * WHEN...Until 7 AM EST this morning. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute.

* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of up to 1 inch on areas south of the Sweet Grass Hills, but an additional 2 to 5 inches is expected in the Sweet Grass Hills. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Toole and Liberty Counties. * WHEN...Until 5 PM MST Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Widespread blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.

Winds gusting as high as 35 mph. * WHERE...Eastern Mackinac, Western Chippewa, and Western Mackinac Counties, and Beaver Island and surrounding islands. * WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make travel treacherous and potentially life-threatening.

Frostbite and hypothermia will occur if unprotected skin is exposed to these temperatures. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The coldest wind chill values which now reside around 20 below zero will hold through 9 AM today.
