At 728 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Tompkinsville, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tompkinsville, Edmonton, Burkesville, Leslie, Gamaliel, Littrell, Desda, Cundiff, Curtis, and Gum Tree.

LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 440 PM EST, a band of heavy snow was 7 miles northwest of Jasper moving east-southeast at 30 MPH. THIS BAND OF HEAVY SNOW WILL BE NEAR... Jasper around 445 PM EST. ...SCATTERED SNOW SHOWERS AND SNOW SQUALLS EXPECTED LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING... A band of light snow continues to move eastward across southern Indiana and central Kentucky this morning. This band will intensify some as it works east of I-65 into the Bluegrass. Temperatures this morning are already around the freezing mark and could fall briefly below freezing before sunrise. Minor accumulations of snow will be possible east of I-65. The recent warmth and warm ground temps will likely limit snow accumulations to elevated decks and roof tops.
