The combination of low humidity and gusty winds will result in a greater risk of adverse fire behavior and rapid fire spread through this afternoon. Relative humidity values will drop 20 to 25 percent across most of the area this afternoon, with values of 15 to 20 percent in the Alleghenies. Southeast to south winds around 10-15 mph will gust between 20 to 25 mph. For the ridges, higher gusts up to 35 mph are expected. Temperatures this afternoon reach the 70s at most locations. * WHAT...Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN...Until 11 PM EDT this evening, especially around the time of high tide. * IMPACTS...At 2.6 feet, water may begin to pond in the parking lot at Annapolis City Dock, and surround the Alex Haley Memorial. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides one and a half to two feet above normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 7:26 AM and 7:41 PM.
