* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of west central Kansas, including the following county, Wallace. * WHEN...Until midnight MDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 859 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 5 at 8:41PM MDT until June 5 at 8:45PM MDT by NWS Goodland KS

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM MDT for east central Colorado...and west central Kansas. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service Goodland.
