THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 224 IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN FLORIDA THIS WATCH INCLUDES 3 COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA BROWARD MIAMI-DADE PALM BEACH THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF BOCA RATON, BOYNTON BEACH, CORAL SPRINGS, DELRAY BEACH, FORT LAUDERDALE, HIALEAH, HOLLYWOOD, JUPITER, LION COUNTRY SAFARI PARK, MIAMI, PEMBROKE PINES, POMPANO BEACH, SAWGRASS MILLS MAL, SUNRISE, WELLINGTON, AND WEST PALM BEACH.

Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued May 4 at 4:38PM EDT until May 4 at 4:45PM EDT by NWS Miami FL

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
