FEMA Provides $8.3 Million to Michigan for Vaccine Distribution Support CHICAGO – The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and Michigan State Police, Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division announced today that $8,375,955 in federal funding has been made available to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) for costs related to the state’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic under the federal disaster declaration of March 27, 2020. This funding is an advance payment to MDHHS for eligible reimbursable costs for a public information campaign focused on the vaccination efforts across the state. The
