There is an increased risk for rapid fire spread this afternoon across portions of eastern Pennsylvania. Minimum relative humidity values will be between 20 and 30 percent combined with south- southeast winds near 10 mph and gusts of 15 to 20 mph. High temperatures this afternoon will range from the low 60s to near 70. These conditions along with the continued drying of fine fuels could support the rapid spread of any fires that ignite, which could quickly become difficult to control.
