Areas of patchy fog will continue for the rest of the night along the Hi Line region. Fog can be dense at times, reducing visibility to less than a half mile. Lake effect snow will affect areas along the southeastern shores of Lake of the Woods toward Baudette and Koochiching County border this evening and overnight. Snow will fall in relatively narrow bands, quickly reducing visibility at times. Most likely snowfall accumulation will range from 2 to 4 inches through tonight, but could be locally higher within narrow bands. If traveling, be prepared for rapidly changing road conditions and visibilities. Travel could be difficult. Reduce your speed, turn on your headlights. Don't slam on brakes!

Snow showers continue off of Lake of the Woods into northern Koochiching County through tonight. A few additional inches of fluffy snowfall are forecast for areas north of a line from Baudette to Bigfork to Nett Lake. This includes Littlefork and International Falls. The light snow will accumulate on roads, bridges, and untreated surfaces. Expect slippery stretches on area roads and use caution if traveling.
