A weather system moving through New Mexico will produce an area of light snow over parts of the area late tonight through Thanksgiving morning. Snowfall accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the area from around Las Vegas to Santa Fe, Clines Corners, Moriarty, and the Sandia Mountains. This may lead to a period of slick travel on Thanksgiving morning for portions of Interstate 25, U.S. Highway 285, and Interstate 40. A second area of light snow may also impact the Continental Divide portion of Interstate 40 over western NM. Folks planning travel in these areas late tonight
