Disaster Recovery Centers Remain Open to Provide Wildfire Disaster Assistance LOS ANGELES –Los Angeles County wildfire survivors who need assistance can stop by a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) to apply for disaster assistance, speak with a FEMA representative, speak to representatives from other state and federal agencies, and receive updates on their FEMA application. Disaster Recovery Centers Open in Breathitt, Clay Counties FRANKFORT, Ky -- Disaster Recovery Centers opened on March 7 in Breathitt and Clay counties.  Disaster Recovery Centers, operated by the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management and FEMA, offer in-person support to survivors in declared counties as the result of severe storms, straight-line winds, flooding, landslides and mudslides from February.    FEMA representatives can explain available assistance programs, how to apply to FEMA, and help connect  survivors with resources for their recovery needs. Agriculture Recovery Center to Open Friday in Ashe County HICKORY, N.C. – A one-day Agriculture Recovery Center will operate in Ashe County Friday at Wilkes Community College-Ashe Campus (Kent Poe Hall) to help farmers recover from Tropical Storm Helene. FEMA Set to Open Altadena Disaster Recovery Center

FEMA Set to Open Altadena Disaster Recovery Center LOS ANGELES – FEMA is opening a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Altadena to assist Californians who experienced damage to their primary home, personal property loss or have disaster-caused emergency needs related to the wildfires. At DRCs, you can get help applying for federal assistance, speak to representatives from state and federal agencies, receive updates on your FEMA application for assistance and learn about the appeals process.  Additionally, the DRC located at the Pasadena City College Community Education Center’s last day of operations is Friday, Jan. 31. The Altadena location will open Monday, Jan.
