Special Weather Statement issued January 19 at 9:43PM EST by NWS Pittsburgh PA
Temporary visibility drops are possible in snow and blowing snow with wind gusts up to 20mph to 30mph along and behind an arctic front tonight. With temperatures dropping into the single digits behind an arctic front, wet and slushy untreated and treated roads may freeze. This may make for hazardous travel, particularly for any areas that have experienced snow or will pick up light accumulations along the front.

Scattered snow showers are likely through this evening as an arctic front moves through the region. Some snow showers will reduce visibility to under one-half of a mile and produce a quick coating of snow. Probabilities remain highest in the I-80 corridor, but low visibility showers remain possible anywhere within the region. With temperatures dropping into the 10s, snow will easily be able to stick to roads and water may refreeze, making travel slick on untreated and treated roads. Motorists should be prepared for changeable visibility and road conditions if traveling through this evening. Changes in visibility and slick roads
