An area of light to moderate snow will fall over portions of northwest Pennsylvania tonight into the early morning hours Saturday. The combination of cold surface temepratures and falling snow will lead to snow covered roadways and total accumulations of 1 to 2 inches. Please use caution if driving through the region as roads may become slick or difficult to navigate.

Snow showers will move across portions of the region over the next 8 hours. Heavier showers may cause brief, but sharp reductions in visibility, as well as light accumulations on area roadways.
