.Elevated Fire Danger Expected Today... This afternoon, relative humidities are expected to drop to 20 to 30 percent and wind expected to gust between 20 to 30 mph with isolated higher gusts in the high terrain. Thought fuel moistures have recovered some over the last days, less than 0.1" over the last 24 hours will maintain a marginal threat. This will lead to an elevated fire danger today. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether you may burn outdoors. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can increasingly escalate under these conditions.

.Elevated Fire Danger Expected Today... This afternoon, relative humidities are expected to drop to 20%-30% and wind expected to gust between 20-30 mph with the higher gusts expected in the ridge-line. With the dry conditions earlier this week and less than 0.25 inches of rain accumulation yesterday, the fuel moisture is likely to dry quickly in the sunny and warm conditions today. This leads to an elevated fire danger today. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities on whether you may burn outdoors. If you do burn, use extreme caution since fires can increasingly escalate under these conditions.
