Request a No-Cost Conservation Restoration Plan by March 14 for Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire and Floods SANTA FE, N.M. — Landowners impacted by the Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire or subsequent flooding now have until March 14, 2025, to request a no-cost conservation restoration plan through the U.S. Agriculture Department’s (USDA) Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS). The Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Claims Office (“Claims Office”) has partnered with the NRCS to offer landowners the opportunity to request a restoration plan for their property. Alaska Transitions to ICAO Flight Plan Format The FAA transitioned to mandatory use of the international flight plan format for all IFR and VFR domestic and international civil flights in the contiguous United States in August 2019. Effective March 26, 2020, all domestic and international civil flights in Alaska must use the international flight plan format as well.
