* WHAT...Breaking waves around 6-9 feet, and occasionally higher, resulting in life-threatening rip currents. * WHERE...Beaches along the northern coast of Puerto Rico, from Aguadilla to Fajardo. * WHEN...Through Friday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water, where it becomes difficult to return to safety. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Life-threatening rip currents will continue across the north-facing beaches of the islands through most of the workweek due to pulses of long period northerly swells. However, a larger, northwesterly swell will arrive as early as late tonight, building seas between 8 and 12 feet
