Traction laws may be enacted. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of moderate to potentially heavy snow will continue today before tapering to snow showers this evening. Additional snow accumulation is possible tonight into Wednesday morning southeast of the Great Salt Lake.

The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Additional snow accumulation is likely tonight into Wednesday morning southeast of the Great Salt Lake. If this lake effect snow remains in a coherent, persistent band, the Winter Storm Warning may need to be extended. This would also bring accumulating snow to this evening's commute.

Isolated gusts to around 60 mph possible near the Raft River Mountains * WHERE...Great Salt Lake Desert and Mountains. * WHEN...Until noon MDT today. * IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles and vehicles with trailers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Strong cross winds can be expected along I-80 across western Utah, and especially along Highway 30 near the Raft River Mountains where winds will likely be strongest.
