* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...Guaynabo, San Juan and Trujillo Alto. * WHEN...Until 1230 AM AST. * IMPACTS...Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1122 PM AST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms today, most likely between 11 AM and 2 PM. Any thunderstorms could produce locally hazardous conditions, including gusty and erratic winds, lightning, heavy rainfall with limited visibility, and rough seas. There is also a remote chance of a waterspout. Mariners are urged to seek safe harbor when threatening weather approaches or remain in port until hazardous weather passes. * WHAT...Breaking waves around 6-7 ft, or slightly higher, resulting in life-threatening rip current. * WHERE...Northwestern exposed beaches of Culebra, St Thomas and St. Croix. * WHEN...Through late Thursday night. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water, where it becomes difficult to return to safety.
