There is still time for them to apply for disaster assistance! Impacted individuals in Bedford, Bland, Carroll, Giles, Grayson, Lee, Montgomery, Pittsylvania, Pulaski, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe counties and the cities of Galax and Radford are eligible to apply for assistance from FEMA to help with costs from damage and losses due to Hurricane Helene. President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. Increases Federal Cost Share for Vermont WASHINGTON – FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell announced that President Joseph R. Biden, Jr. made additional disaster assistance available to the state of Vermont to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms, flooding, landslides and mudslides from July 7-21, 2023.
