Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary: A frosty and chilly  start this morning throughout North Florida and Nature Coast with Frost Advisories , Freeze Warnings  and Cold Weather Advisories  remaining in effect through the mid-morning hours. High pressure over the Southeast U.S. will give way to mostly sunny and dry conditions across the state (near 0-5% chance of rain). Drier air filtering southward will give way to sensitive wildfire conditions  across Northeast Florida and throughout the Peninsula with relative humidity values falling near or below critical thresholds  this afternoon (30-40%) . Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary:   Yesterday's cold front will continue to move through the Peninsula bringing isolated showers across West-Central and South Florida (30-40% chance of rain). Lingering moisture behind the cold front across the Big Bend and Northeast Florida will allow for spotty to isolated showers during the morning hours before drier air moves in behind the front (15-25% chance of rain). Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary: A more active weather pattern can be expected today as an area of low pressure and its attending cold front moves eastward along the Gulf Coast today into the weekend. Wind Advisories will be in effect along the Emerald and Forgotten Coasts until 1:00 AM EST/12:00 AM CST (1/11) for frequent wind gusts of 30-40 mph . Rain chances will increase from west to east along the I-10 corridor, with the highest chance of rain residing along and west of the US-231 corridor during the daytime

Abundant sunshine can be expected again today; however, another chilly and dry day is on tap for the Sunshine State.  Northerly winds will continue to filter a very dry air mass statewide, with wind gusts of 10-15 mph possible during the daytime hours.
