Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary: A cold start to the morning throughout North and Central Florida this morning in the wake of yesterday's cold front which has now pushed offshore from the Florida Keys. Strong high pressure over the Central U.S. will bring much colder and drier air southward leading to mostly sunny conditions and breezy wind gusts near 10-15 mph throughout the day (near 0% chance of rain). Sensitive to locally elevated wildfire conditions  will develop across Northeast Florida and Suwannee Valley along the I-75 corridor where relative humidity values

Isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected along the Panhandle throughout the daytime hours as the warm front lift from the northern Gulf waters (20-40% chance of rain). Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary:   Clear skies and near-zero rain chances can be expected across the Sunshine State today, courtesy of a dominant area of high pressure; temperatures will be slightly cooler in the wake of yesterday’s reinforcing cold front. Winds become breezy over Northwest Florida tonight, with coastal wind gusts reaching 15-20 mph ahead of our next approaching weather system.  Increasing cloud cover expected over the western Florida Panhandle tonight, with a slight chance for a shower or two possible (5-15% chance of rain) west of the US-231 corridor.
