Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2   Meteorological Summary: A developing low pressure system over the Central Plains will eventually shift northeastward today and allowing high pressure along the Atlantic Coast to shift towards the adjacent open waters.  Southerly to southeasterly winds of 10-20 mph can be expected to develop across the state, with wind gusts upwards of 15-25 mph  across the Peninsula and stronger wind gusts upwards of 30-40 mph  across the Panhandle. Wind Advisories  have been issued across the Panhandle and will go into effect midday due to gusty winds. Mostly dry

Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2   Meteorological Summary: High pressure along the Mid-Atlantic states will continue to dominate across the Southeast U.S. keeping conditions mostly dry throughout the day. With ongoing dry conditions, sensitive to elevated wildfire conditions can be expected to persist across North and West Florida. Relative humidity values across the Panhandle are expected to fall below critical thresholds (20-30%)  and values across West Florida will approach or fall below critical thresholds (30-40%) . Red Flag conditions are not expected  as winds will remain light near 5-10 mph and wind gusts

Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2   Meteorological Summary: Dry and mostly sunny conditions will persist across the Sunshine State today as a dry cold front moves through reinforcing ongoing dry conditions (near 0% chance of rain). Sensitive to elevated wildfire conditions can be expected to develop across the state by this afternoon. Relative humidity values will fall below critical thresholds (15-30%) throughout North and West Florida and near critical thresholds (30-40%)  along East Florida. Lighter winds near 5-10 mph will keep conditions below Red Flag criteria. Stronger wind gusts upwards of 20-30 mph
