Fog has developed across portions of central Ohio this morning. Some of the fog will be locally dense in spots, with visibilities dropping to around one quarter of a mile. Motorists are advised to use extra caution, use low beam headlights and leave extra space between vehicles. Visibilities are expected to improve between 9 am and 10 am.

Satellite imagery and traffic cameras showed patchy dense fog reducing visibility to less than 1 mile at times in western Lake County, including the Florida's Turnpike. These conditions are forecast to continue for another hour or so then dissipate. Use caution during the morning commute. If you encounter fog, slow down, use only your low beam headlights, and increase your following distance.

Temperatures have cooled enough into the low 30s to where precipitation has changed to snow across much of McPherson and Edmunds counties. Accumulating snowfall as much as 2 to 4 inches may be possible (mainly on grassy and elevated surfaces) through Wednesday morning. Those traveling overnight into Wednesday morning should be prepared for potential snowfall accumulations.
