Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2   Meteorological Summary: Mostly dry conditions statewide as high pressure builds in (near 0-5% chance of rain) with a few isolated showers possible across South Florida and the Keys (5-25% chance of rain). High temperatures in the middle 40s to middle 50s along the Florida Panhandle, middle 50s to middle 60s across the Northern Peninsula, middle 60s to low 70s across Central Florida, and middle 70s to low 80s across South Florida. Scattered snow showers and gusty winds will produce locally hazardous travel this evening. Wind gusts up to 30 to 40 mph and moderate to briefly heavy snow could reduce visibility to a quarter mile or less. Use extra caution when traveling. Rapid changes in visibility and potentially slick roads may lead to accidents.

Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary: Dense Fog Advisories  remain effect across interior portions of South Florida this morning until 8:00 AM EST as dense fog and low clouds will create reduced visibility . Widespread rainfall stretches across North Florida as a weak Gulf Low moves eastward across the central gulf waters, and shower activity will eventually spread into Central Florida later today (70-near 100% chance of rain). Thunderstorm activity will be very limited; however, an instance of a rumble of thunder or embedded thunderstorm cannot be ruled out later this afternoon

Sunday's cold front will linger over the Florida Keys and near the southern Peninsula as it becomes stationary allowing for brief showers throughout the day (10-20% chance of rain). Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary: A line of showers and thunderstorms, some of which may be strong to severe , will continue to move across the I-10 corridor then through the central Peninsula today ahead of a cold front sweeping across the Southeast U.S (80-near 100% chance of rain).  The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) is outlooking a Marginal to Slight Risk (level 1- 2 of 5) for Severe Weather  throughout most of North Florida as severe thunderstorms will be capable of producing frequent lightning, damaging wind gusts (50-70 mph), embedded tornadoes
