For areas south of I-70, southwesterly winds will be sustained between 20 to 25 MPH, with gusts up to 35 MPH possible this afternoon. Gusty winds may blow around unsecured objects. Use extra caution when driving this afternoon, especially if driving a high profile vehicle.

HAZARD...Sudden and brief periods of moderate to heavy snowfall, gusty winds, and significantly reduced visibilities. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hazardous travel conditions due to slick roads and low visibilities. Locations impacted include... Egbert, Hillsdale, Burns, Pine Bluffs, Pine Bluffs Municipal Airport, and Carpenter. This includes Interstate 80 in Wyoming between mile markers 375 and 401.

The risk will be highest across the Capital Region, the Lake George and Saratoga region, as well as the mid Hudson Valley, Taconics and eastern Catskills.
