Pea size hail was reported in Mount Union at 232 PM. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. Periods of heavy snow showers will bring 5 to 10 inches of snow from Allakaket to Chandalar Shelf and south to around Gobblers Knob along the Dalton Highway through Saturday. This area includes Bettles and Coldfoot as well. The heaviest snow will fall from this afternoon through this evening and then again on Friday afternoon and evening as another shortwave aloft moves over the area. Drivers can expect periods of low visibility and rapidly changing conditions along the Dalton Highway.

Fog is developing across southwest Wisconsin this morning. Widespread visibilities between 1/2 and 1 mile have been observed, and will continue into the first half of this morning.
