Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary: An extremely cold morning unfolded across Florida, with wind chills earlier making temperatures 5 to 7-degrees colder than actual. Abundant sunshine can be expected again today; however, another chilly and dry day is on tap for the Sunshine State.  Northerly winds will continue to filter a very dry air mass statewide, with wind gusts of 10-15 mph possible during the daytime hours. W.Va. Disaster Recovery Center Relocates to Princeton on Thursday, Jan. 2 CHARLESTON, W.Va.– The Mercer County Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Bluefield, W.Va. will be closing on Monday, Dec. 30 at 5 p.m. and relocating to Princeton, W.Va. The Princeton DRC will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2. A few isolated showers and thunderstorms remain possible along the Southeast Coast and Keys as yesterday’s cold front moves further offshore (5-15% chance of rain).
