Disaster Recovery Centers in Va. will Permanently Close on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. BRISTOL, Va.— Southwest Virginia Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) will permanently close at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7.  If you have questions about your application for FEMA disaster assistance, you can still receive help.  Call the FEMA Helpline at 800-621-3362. Phone lines operate seven days a week.  If you use video relay service, captioned telephone service or others, give FEMA your number for that service.  Go to DisasterAssistance.govto check the status of your application online or use FEMA’s mobile app. Applying for assistance is an ongoing process

May Be Eligible for Reimbursement for Damage-Related Home Repairs BRISTOL, Va.— If you completed home repairs due to damage from Hurricane Helene in Virginia, FEMA may be able to reimburse you.  Submit receipts to FEMA for home repair work not covered by insurance or other sources. FEMA may be able to reimburse impacted households in Bedford, Bland, Carroll, Giles, Grayson, Lee, Montgomery, Pittsylvania, Pulaski, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, Wise and Wythe counties and the cities of Galax and Radford.   FEMA may be able to pay for the following as part of the Individual Assistance

Disaster Recovery Centers in Galax, Pembroke and Tazewell, Va. are Permanently Closing on Nov. 16 BRISTOL, Va.– The Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) in Galax, Pembroke (Giles County), and Tazewell (Tazewell County) will be permanently closing at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.
