Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report EOC Activation Level:  Level 2 Meteorological Summary:   A wet weather pattern continues to develop today as the persistent frontal boundary remains near or over North Florida, allowing for moisture to continue filtering in over the state from the Gulf. Scattered showers and thunderstorms expected across much of the state today (55-75% chance of rain). Northern portions of the state will likely see the first showers and embedded thunderstorms begin this morning, while activity further southward into the Peninsula will likely develop a little later in the day, primarily during the afternoon hours
