At 519 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from near Warsaw to over Minnesota Lake, or extending from 9 miles southwest of Faribault to 24 miles northwest of Albert Lea, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Owatonna, Waseca, Wells, Medford, New Richland, Minnesota Lake, Hartland, Freeborn, Waldorf, Easton, Otisco, Lemond, Clinton Falls, Hope, Deerfield, Matawan and Owatonna Airport.

Alda around 435 PM CDT. Grand Island around 440 PM CDT. This includes Interstate 80 between mile markers 300 and 327.

Blowing snow will significantly reduce visibility at times, with periods of zero visibility.

The low RH values, combined with dry vegetation and persistent dry weather, will create elevated fire concerns today. Burn bans are currently in effect for Collier, Hendry, and Glades counties.
