FEMA Coming to Pryor for One Week CROW AGENCY – FEMA disaster assistance specialists will be coming to several Crow Tribe communities to continuing helping people apply for disaster assistance.  Crow Tribe members who had damage to a home, rental home, trailer or mobile home, or had damage to property caused by the August 6, 2024 severe storm and straight-line winds can apply for help with repairs and other needs.  In addition to the Disaster Recovery Center at the Black Lodge Community Center, a traveling Disaster Recovery Center will be coming to other Crow Tribe Districts for one week visits

One Week Left for Floridians to Apply for FEMA Assistance After Hurricanes Milton and Helene TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Floridians who sustained loss from Hurricanes Milton or Helene have one week remaining to apply for federal assistance. The deadline is Jan. 7, 2025. If you applied for FEMA assistance after Hurricane Helene and have additional damage from Hurricane Milton, you will need to apply separately for Milton and provide the dates of your most recent damage. Homeowners and renters are encouraged to apply online at DisasterAssistance.gov or by using the FEMA App. You may also apply by phone at 800-621-3362. Lines are open

Take Extra Precautions as Temperatures Drop This Week CHICAGO – Sub-zero temperatures are forecast this week and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) wants individuals and families to be safe when faced with the hazards of severely cold weather.  Beginning midweek, wind chills are forecast to be near or below zero in parts of the Upper Midwest, with high winds and snow expected across Minnesota, Wisconsin and western Michigan. “As some of us prepare for the upcoming holidays, we must also take steps to protect against the dangers of extremely low temperatures and severe winter weather,” said Kevin M. Sligh
