Snow will continue through evening hours. Lower elevation valley locations will rise into the upper 30s this afternoon and Wednesday during the day, with temps falling back below freezing at night. Snowfall accumulations will come and go all the way through Thursday as a front remains draped over the region. In addition, gusty southwest winds to 30 mph may cause minor blowing snow, with more widespread blowing snow over the highway summits. ESFBOI Warmer temperatures will lead to snowmelt, causing rises on rivers, creeks, and streams across southeast Oregon through midweek. Saturated soils in some areas will increase runoff.
