A weather system moving south into northern New Mexico tonight will produce an area of light snow over parts of the area through Thanksgiving morning. Snowfall accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are likely along I-25 between Las Vegas and Santa Fe, along U.S. 285 between Clines Corners and Santa Fe, as well as along I-40 from Clines Corners to Tijeras. This may lead to a period of slick travel on Thanksgiving morning. Locally higher amounts up to 5 inches are possible in the high terrain west of Las Vegas. Another area of light snow will impact the Continental Divide
