Some locations are falling while others continue to crest through Monday. * WHAT...Life-threatening rip currents due to breaking waves of up to 6-7 feet. * WHERE...In Puerto Rico, north-facing beaches of Puerto Rico, and Culebra. In the Virgin Islands, easternmost beaches of St. Croix. * WHEN...Through at least late tonight. * IMPACTS...Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water, where it becomes difficult to return to safety.

Coastal Flood Advisory issued January 13 at 4:40AM AKST until January 14 at 3:00AM AKST by NWS Anchorage AK

* WHAT...Water levels up to 4 feet above the normal highest tide line. * WHERE...Kuskokwim Delta Coast, including Kipnuk and Kwigillingok. * WHEN..The highest water levels will coincide with high tide Monday evening. * IMPACTS...Water could push up through gaps in the ice and cause localized flooding for communities along the coast, particularly between Kipnuk and Kwigillingok. Strong onshore winds could also push pieces of sea ice up onto the shoreline. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds will weaken but remain westerly for high tide Monday evening.

Winds gusting as high as 45 mph. * WHERE...Thompson Pass. * WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Monday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Heavy snow, with snow rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour, will persist through at least early afternoon at the top of the pass.
