Strong southwesterly winds today, gusting around 35 to 45 mph, unseasonably warm temperatures, and low relative humidity will result in an elevated fire danger this afternoon into the early evening. Vegetation remains dry throughout the area as well. Any fires that start in these conditions will have an increased risk of spreading quickly.
