Strong winds associated with a deep Canadian low will develop this morning and persist this afternoon. Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph are expected this afternoon near and north of Highway 30 from La Porte to Warsaw to Fort Wayne to Lima. If you are driving a high profile vehicle, use caution. Secure outdoor objects that may be blown around.

Bitterly cold temperatures have created some ice formation on area rivers and with slight warming later this weekend and into early next week may make for favorable conditions for ice jams on area rivers and tributaries.
