Special Weather Statement issued February 8 at 7:04PM EST by NWS Northern Indiana

A wintry mix has transitioned mainly to some pockets of light snow this evening. Some brief lake effect show showers are possible overnight across southwest Lower Michigan, but otherwise the system snow will gradually taper during the late evening and overnight hours. The combination of the recent wintry mix and temperatures continuing to fall into the lower to middle 20s will likely result in untreated roads remaining slick during the overnight hours. If you are driving, slow down and use caution.
