SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported quarter sized hail in Shipman. IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles. Locations impacted include... Scottsville, Esmont, Glendower, Keene, Alberene, Damon, and Covesville.

Spotty light freezing rain is possible across parts of Garrett and Allegany Counties this evening. Although spotty and light, any ice will make conditions slippery given recent cold weather. Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
